4/30/2011 - Ontario Nurse Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) receives continued support from Infinite Media
Toronto, ON – Today, Infinite Media, an integrated digital company, announced its renewed partnership with Ontario Nurse Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC). The Ontario Nurse Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) Program is a Provincial Blood Conservation Program that attempts to enhance transfusion practice by promoting alternatives and improving patient care and well-being in a cost-effective manner.
The ONTraC Program is coordinated by St. Michael’s Hospital, and has been in existence since 2002. Infinite Media – an experienced provider of Health Care solutions – has been partnering with ONTraC since 2006, when they designed and implemented the program’s customized Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system.
Initially, Infinite Media built an application for the program that was installed locally on each nurse’s machine. In the last year, the company has since designed and implemented an online version of the application for ONTraC – which allows for enhanced efficiency and increased security for the clinical information collected.
Infinite Media’s partnership with ONTraC also includes providing administrative service and support for ONTraC’s EDC. Additionally, the company also aided in the production of ONTraC’s public website.
