How Other Information Is Collected

IM and its third party service providers may collect Other Information through:
  1. Your browser, such as your media access control address, screen resolution, computer type, operating system version and Internet browser type and version. IM uses this information to help ensure the proper functioning of this Site;
  2. The use of cookies and web beacons. Cookies can be “persistent” or “session” cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your computer when you have gone offline, while session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your web browser;

Other Information may also include information voluntarily provided by you, such as your location or preferred means of communication. Unless it is combined with Personal Information, this information remains Other Information because it does not personally identify an individual.

Please note that IM may receive information in the course of providing goods and services to its customers, such as text, video, software or image files about our customer’s own customers, and IM makes no claim of ownership to such information. How Other Information Is Used

IM may use Other Information for any purpose, unless limited under applicable law. Should applicable law treat Other Information as Personal Information, the Other Information will be treated as Personal Information. Should IM combine any Other Information with Personal Information, the Other Information will be treated as Personal Information as long as it is combined.

While IM uses reasonable organizational, administrative and technical measures to ensure the protection of all Personal Information under its control, no transmission or storage of data over the Internet can be guaranteed as being 100% safe and secure.
