12/1/2009 - Infinite Media congratulates partner Fairmont Hotels & Resorts for receiving 2009 Worldwide Hospitality Award

Toronto, ON – Today, Infinite Media, an integrated digital company, received the news Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (FHR) was awarded the 2009 Worldwide Hospitality award for Best Initiative in Hotel Management Training.
 
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts received the award for their Leadership Development Program, which was redesigned and re-launched in 2008. Infinite Media produced multimedia components supporting the program, including multiple Colleague Testimonials produced as web-ready videos, as well as a two-minute overview video ­– Careers with Fairmont – to be housed on FHR’s dedicated careers website.
 
Materials produced by Infinite Media were included as supporting enclosures for the award nomination, and are recognized as integral elements of the training program. In keeping with the global nature of the Fairmont brand, the Colleague Testimonials and Careers with Fairmont videos will be translated by Infinite Media this coming year into French, Spanish, German, Arabic and Mandarin Chinese.
 
With the Leadership Development Program, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts aims to provide the top graduate training program in the Hospitality industry – by attracting and retaining top students from hospitality programs globally. MKG Group, organizers of the Worldwide Hospitality Awards, certainly agreed that Fairmont’s Leadership Program is a cut above the rest, and have chosen Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as the 2009 award recipient for Best Initiative in Hotel Management Training.The Worldwide Hospitality Awards is an international competition and an opportunity for hotel groups to highlight their teams’ exemplary achievements in communication, marketing, innovation, human resources, social and environmental responsibility, and customer loyalty programs.
 
Over 800 professionals turned up for the 2009 Worldwide Hospitality Awards, also the 10th anniversary of the event, held at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand in Paris, France.
