2/15/2020 - ONTraC to Continue Partnership with Infinite Media Providing Invaluable Health Care Information for Ontario Hospitals and Patients
Toronto, ON – Infinite Media, an integrated digital company, continues its important work with Ontario Nurse Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) Program – a Provincial Blood Conservation Program that enhances transfusion practice by promoting transfusion alternatives and blood conservation – to provide vital information about transfusion rates and blood use in Ontario hospitals. The information captured from this program helps the province of Ontario to better manage blood supplies, reducing waste and costs.
Infinite Media has been a trusted partner of the ONTraC Program since 2006 when the company designed and implemented the customized Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system that makes up the foundation of the program’s mandate. This system is integral in tracking the use of blood supplies and helping make important decisions about distribution.
In March 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic changing the way people across the globe work, Infinite Media supported health care workers tasked with administering this vital program in making the switch to working remotely by providing trouble shooting assistance in accessing the platform and inputting information.
Infinite Media is also active in producing and administering ONTraC’s public website which serves as a communications and learning hub for health care workers and patients to access factual and up to date information about blood transfusion. The Infinite Media team have provided additional support at this time by making updates to the public site to provide vital, up to date information regarding COVID-19 to patients.
