Jonathan Lamb
President & Founder
Jonathan Lamb brings a wealth of security knowledge from his work with the British Ministry of Defence and the American Air Force in the 1980’s. He arrived in Canada in 1990 and began working for a well-known security company before going in-house to run a large downtown Toronto condominium. Disappointed with the overall quality of services being offered in the condominium sector by contract security companies, Jonathan decided to create Nexus Protective Services to provide a level of service that remains unsurpassed. Since launching In October 1996, Nexus has become a major player in the GTA and continues to provide quality security to a large number of condominiums.
Jonathan strongly believes in maintaining healthy, long-term relationships with his clients. The fact that so many clients are still using his services after a decade is proof that Jonathan has created a product and service that works.
Over the years, Jonathan has been an active member of his community. Along with his work with the homeless, he has sat on the boards of trade and of local BIA’s (Business Improvement Areas). He has been a police liaison committee member, a school committee member, volunteered to head security with major Toronto events, and been involved with Habitat for Humanity programs.
Fred Kozlo
Executive Vice President
Fred Kozlo, a former Brookfield property manager with over 15 years of condominium experience, joined Nexus in 2000 as a partner. Fred provided Nexus with a greater understanding of the property manager’s needs and brought invaluable insights to the day to day process of working with condominium corporations.
Over the years, Fred has developed many employee manuals and policies. He has worked with WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) and has sat on health and safety committees to ensure that Nexus employees have a safe and healthy environment to work in.
Fred’s other roles within Nexus include overseeing the payroll department, accounts receivables and the day to day operations of the company.
